HE’S already the sixth fastest man on the planet in his category – and Zac Shaw hopes the support of a booming Grimsby charity will propel him to Rio 2016.

The 19-year-old, who is visually impaired with T12 classification, has teamed up with Supporting Local Champions (SLC) ahead of the biggest year of his life.

Shaw only began training regularly in November 2013, but in just 13 months’ time, he wants to be mixing it with the best in Brazil.

SLC founder Mike Burton has already provided specialist training equipment for the charity’s latest ‘role model’.
